Gamble & Gunn Black Herringbone Newsboy Button Top Cap

The Shelby is Gamble & Gunn’s classic eight-panel newsboy cap, made in a subtle black herringbone wool-blend cloth. The traditional panelled crown and covered top button give it plenty of character, while the understated colour makes it easy to wear with everything from denim and knitwear to an overcoat or tweed jacket.

Its shape takes inspiration from the newsboy and button-top caps worn throughout the early twentieth century. It is an excellent choice for anyone looking for a vintage or Peaky Blinders-inspired cap without making the look feel like costume.

The cap is fully lined for comfort and available across an unusually generous size range, from 53cm to 65cm.

Measure around your head where the cap will sit, approximately one centimetre above your ears. Select the nearest size in centimetres. If your measurement falls between two sizes, we generally recommend choosing the larger size.
