‘Shelby’ Newspaper Boy Navy Herringbone Button Top Cap

The Shelby is a traditional eight-panel newsboy cap made from navy blue herringbone wool-blend cloth. Its panelled crown, covered top button and distinctive shape take inspiration from the newspaper boy caps worn throughout Britain and Ireland during the early twentieth century.

The navy herringbone fabric gives the cap plenty of character while remaining easy to wear. It works particularly well with denim, knitwear, tweed jackets, wax coats and more tailored clothing.

Often associated with the sharp vintage styling seen in Peaky Blinders, the Shelby captures the character of the period without feeling like a costume piece. It is a versatile everyday cap that can be dressed up or worn casually.
