Klys – Gamble & Gunn Cornish Hunting Tartan Flat Cap

Cornish heritage flat cap  in deeper, woodland tones. The Klys is our traditional flat cap, tailored from pure wool Cornish Hunting Tartan, where rich greens and blacks are crossed with red, blue, yellow and white. It’s the quieter sibling of the Cornish National, woven in colours that echo the moors, hedgerows and coastal woodland of the Duchy.  Each panel is cut and sewn by hand here in the UK, finished with a soft satin lining, a sweatband for comfort through long days, and the signature button at the crown that gives this style its name. The shape sits handsomely on the head: full enough to feel substantial, neat enough to wear with anything from a waxed jacket to a wool overcoat.
